Jummah is one of the special days for Muslims, and it has many virtues that we can benefit from. It is one of the special days from the perspective of Islam. Hence, we must take advantage of it by doing the prescribed acts. Some are obligatory, such as the Jummah prayer for men. We should also perform the sunnah and optional acts when possible. That will help us to worship Allah in the best way and get close to Allah.

The Virtues of Jummah

The Prophet (PBUH) narrated that Friday is for Muslims, Saturday for Jews, and Sunday for Christians. He emphasized that on Day of Resurrection, people would be in this order. Hence, Muslims would be the first. Additionally, he stated the importance of Jummah by informing us that Allah created Adam (AS) on this day.

Muhammad (PBUH) said that the angel would blow the trumpet, signaling the end of this world as we know it, on a Friday. He also noted that Friday is the best day on which the sun rises. Moreover, he told us to send salutations to him on this day. Besides this, there is one part of Friday during which Allah answers all prayers. We should try to take advantage of that by making dua often.
